About Me
Hi, I’m Polly, and I’m so excited to get to know you.
A little about me: I was born in Hong Kong and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. After graduating from Colgate University in upstate New York, I moved to London, where I began my career as a first-grade teacher. A few years (and a lot of rain) later, my husband and I relocated to sunny Los Angeles. I went on to earn a master’s degree in teaching from Pepperdine University and taught fifth and sixth grades until the birth of our third son.
After stepping away from the classroom, I decided to turn my lifelong love of reading into a new career. In 2025, I completed the Editing and Publishing Certificate Program through UCLA Extension.
Throughout my teaching career, I gave my students thoughtful, constructive feedback—especially on their writing. I bring that same approach to editing: I give kind, clear, and actionable guidance to bring out the best in your writing.
